Quoter integrates with Amazon Business to make it easy to add products sold through Amazon to your Quotes.

Integration configuration

To configure the integration, go to Settings > Integrations and select Amazon. Login to your Amazon Business account to authenticate and you're done! If you want to stop using the integration simply remove it by clicking the X icon.

How it works

  1. When building a Quote, click Select Item, then click on the Amazon tab.

  2. Search by keyword or MPN in the same way that you would on Amazon Business.

  3. Click Add to Quote and you'll be prompted to review/update all of the details about the item.

  4. Click Save and the item will be added to your Quote.

  5. Add more items or click Close to return to the Quote Editor.

Geographical support

This integration supports Amazon Business accounts based in the USA or Canada.

Important note: If you or a different user has previously connected your Amazon Business account, you will need to remove access before you can reconnect the account. If you see a page like the screenshot below, click Actions > Remove Access and then click back to return to Quoter and click Connect to Amazon again.

Why is it in Beta?

There are cases where the response we get back from Amazon is for a different offer (with a different price point) than the featured offer you would see in your Amazon Business account. For example, the offer we receive may be from a third-party seller but Amazon might feature an offer that is being shipped from and sold by Amazon.com. For this reason, we are gathering feedback on the integration before removing the "Beta" status.

Notes:

  • Currently, Amazon Items cannot be added to Templates.

  • If you have a default markup value set under Settings > General Settings, it will be used for Amazon Items as well.

  • We are unable to show stock/price changes for Amazon Items in the manner outlined here. To pull up-to-date pricing of an Amazon Item, you must remove it from the Quote and re-add it.
