This article defines how data will be pushed from Quoter to Xero. Learn more about integrating with Xero in this article.

Module Mapping

Person

When a Quote's status is changed to Accepted, Ordered or Fulfilled, a Contact will automatically be created in Xero. If the Contact already exists in Xero as a Customer, it will be updated.

Quote

When a Quote's status is changed to Accepted, Ordered or Fulfilled, an Invoice and set of Inventory Items will automatically be created in Xero.

Xero Invoice

*The Invoice Number must be prefixed with the value set in the Invoice Prefix defined in the Integration Settings to avoid duplicate Invoice Numbers in Xero.

Xero Inventory Item

*If you want to have the ability to customize the Revenue Account or Tax Rate for your Inventory Items, please ensure Save Line Items as Inventory Items has been selected in the Integration Settings which will save the Line Items as Inventory Items in Xero (found in Xero under Business > Products and services).

Transaction

When a Payment is accepted for a Quote via Quoter, a Payment will be automatically applied to the corresponding Invoice in Xero.

Please Note that the Default Invoice Status must be set to Authorized for Payments to be applied in Xero.
