Attachments can be attached at the Quote level, Template level, and Item level. This article will outline how to attach files at each of the above levels and how Attachments will be displayed on the Quote.
Quote Attachments
The Quote Attachments section can be found when creating or editing a Quote as per the screenshot below:
Clicking on + Attach File will allow you to add the required attachment(s). On Quote Create, any Template Level attachments cannot be removed but will be displayed in the Quote Attachments section. On Quote Edit, the Template and Quote level Attachments can be removed as required.
Template Attachments
When creating or editing a Template, navigate to the Settings tab and scroll down to the File Attachments to manage the attachments that will be included each time a Quote is created using that Template:
As noted above, these Template Attachments will be displayed under the Attachments section when creating or editing the Quote but cannot be removed:
Item Attachments
When creating or editing an Item, navigate to the Settings tab and scroll down to the File Attachments to manage the one attachment that will be included each time the Item is associated with a Quote:
The attachment will be displayed on Quote Create and Quote Edit by expanding the accordion to view Attachments below the Item Description as per the screenshot below:
If needing to remove the Item Attachment, you will need to remove the attachment at the Item Level and remove/re-add the Item.
