This error is returned by Pipedrive when a deal operation (create or update) includes an invalid value for the stage_id field. Pipedrive requires the stage identifier to be a numeric ID that matches an existing stage on the specified pipeline.

Why this happens

Common causes include:

• The stage ID no longer exists in Pipedrive (stage deleted or pipeline changed), so the stored value in the integration is now invalid.
• The wrong pipeline is being used, and the provided stage_id does not belong to that pipeline.

For Quoter, this will typically surface when Quoter is attempting to push or update a Deal but the stage has been removed in Pipedrive.

How to troubleshoot

1. Confirm the Stage mapping settings in Quoter under Settings > Integrations > Edit Integration.
    
2. In the Pipedrive integration, select a Stages from the dropdown for any blank Stage mappings:
   
   
    
3. Click Save Integration on the bottom of the page.

The integration should automatically retry the push to Pipedrive and succeed. For more details on configuring Integration Status Pushes, see this article.

If the issue persists

• Double-check that:
  • The pipeline you are using in the integration is the same one where the stage ID exists.
  • The stage has not been recently renamed, moved, or deleted in Pipedrive.
• If you cannot identify the stage ID or still see the error after correcting the mapping, collect:
  • The exact error message/response from Pipedrive.
  • The body of the request being sent (with any sensitive data redacted).
  • The Pipedrive pipeline and stage you expect to use.
