Adding quote tags to a template
Automate tag assignment to quotes based on their template and filter your quote views by one or more tags. Automating tags provides a flexible way to group quotes by market segment, client size, or any other criteria, helping you sort and filter quotes with ease.
Quote tags can be added to both new and existing templates.
Creating a new tag
To add tags to a template:
- Go to Templates > Templates > Choose the template you’d like to tag >
Edit This Template > Settings.
- Enter as many tags as you’d like into the Tags field separated by commas.
Alternatively, add new tags to a quote with already existing tags by clicking on the Tags field in Quotes > Quotes List.
Filtering by tags
Use tags to filter quotes by selecting Sort & Filter > Check Tags > Select Tag(s) you’d use to filter. Filtering by multiple tags at a time will present a list of quotes that have any of the tags selected.
Tags will appear in the Tags column of the Quotes list.
| Note: The Tags column doesn’t show by default and will need to be added. Once you’ve added the column, save the view to have the column to automatically appear in the saved view in the future. |
