Note: This feature is currently in beta. 

Our SupplierSync feature allows you to ingest product data, including pricing and availability, from a wide network of suppliers, and view it all on a single screen as part of our Product Cloud. Once configured, SupplierSync automates the process of pulling in supplier data, maps it into a standard format and enables easy comparison across multiple vendors.

Note: If your supplier isn't listed, please let us know at support@quoter.com and we will be able to whitelist their domain.

Prerequisites

Products added via the SupplierSync feed must have a field that matches to an existing MPN in Etilize in order to be shown in the Product Cloud. This allows us to show the Etilize description and image for these products.

Setup Instructions

1. First, navigate to Settings > SupplierSync. You'll see a list of your current Supplier Feeds displaying the current status of the feed sync along with a New Supplier Field button. 

2. Click New Supplier Field. A pop-up window will be displayed:

3. Enter a Supplier Name and add the URL of the CSV under Feed URL. 
Note: If the URL you've entered isn't validating, reach out to support@quoter.com and we can whitelabel it. At the moment, only CSVs with 1M rows or fewer are supported.

4. You'll see an option to Preview Data. This will allow you to confirm that the feed is being read successfully:


5. On the next page, you'll be asked to enter the required and optional Field Mappings for your feed. These fields will be displayed in the Product Cloud to show the unit cost and MPN. For other details such as images and Item descriptions, we will pull the info from the Etilize catalog if available.


Note: These mappings will only need to be done once per feed. 

6. Once you're done, click Save & Activate. You'll then be able to review the feed summary to see additional details:

• Supplier Name
• Feed URL
• Update Schedule (Daily at 12:00 AM account time)
• Field Mappings (Displays the mapping summary)

Viewing Supplier Feeds in Product Cloud

Once a supplier feed has been added and validated, it will display in the Product Cloud next to our other supported distributors (Ingram Micro, TD Synnex) when a product is searched by MPN or keyword. For more details about adding Items from the Product Cloud, consult our article here.

Additional Notes

-The Supplier Name of your sources will not be listed in the Distributor Name field in the Procurement Pick List email. It will be added in the Supplier field instead.

-Products shown in Product Cloud from SupplierSync sources are also shown to Resellers.

-The Manager Approvals rule for Line Item Source will not include SupplierSync sources.

-The field for Manufacturer currently shows only the manufacturer name that is pulled from Etilize. If a different manufacturer name is mapped to the feed, we will defer to the Etilize name instead.
