Recommended Process for Deleting Users
In order to reassign Quotes when a Quoter User is deleted, we recommend you follow this process:
-
Revoke access to Quoter from Accounts > Users in Quoter
-
This step will trigger the People Reassignment flow which will allow you to reassign all of the People (think of these as accounts) that were managed by the User that you are removing, to associate them with a different Quoter User. This is recommended if you have a different Salesperson or Sales Manager who should be taking over the accounts of the User you're deleting.
-
-
Remove the User from the Hub
-
Only follow this step if the User should be removed from all ScalePad products. You may want to revoke access within the other ScalePad products before removing the User from the Hub.
-
Impacts of Deleting Users
If a User is deleted from the Hub before their access is revoked from Quoter, you may no longer be able to reassign that User's People in an automated fashion. If this happens, a different Quoter User with Sales Manager or above permissions will still be able to reassign, edit, or send the Quotes manually as needed.
