Importing Items

Items can be imported from the Dashboard by clicking on "Import Items from CSV (optional)" link, or by clicking on the Import Items button on the Items page.

The first step is to download the CSV template by clicking the "Download CSV template" link:

 

After downloading the CSV template, ensure all fields are entered correctly following the expected file format and click on Run Importer as shown in the screenshot below:

 

If you would like to use this feature for bulk updates (to pricing, for example), you can check the Updating Existing Items Matching by Item Code field. In this case, any Items that already exist in Quoter, matched by Code, will be updated to match the data upload.

Note:

  • Only the CSV columns marked with an asterisk (*) are required to be filled out for the import to run successfully.

  • We do not recommend changing the format of the CSV template, as it may disrupt the import.

Exporting Items

Partners with the role of Product Manager and above can export their items by going to Items > Export to CSV. There is a limit of 1000 items that can be exported using this method. Partners who would like to export a greater amount can reach out to our support team for assistance.
