Use this article as a guide when integrating your account with Pipedrive.

At any time, you can come back to the Integrations page (Settings > Integrations) to make changes to the integration.

The field mappings are set up automatically when you follow the instructions below. For more information, take a look at this article.

Integration Overview

  • When a Quote or Person is created in Quoter, the customer's contact information will be automatically added to your Pipedrive account under Contact and Organization. If a Contact with a matching email address already exists in Pipedrive, it will be updated. However, Quoter will not overwrite existing Organization information.

  • When a Quote is created in Quoter, a Deal will be created in Pipedrive and a PDF version of the Quote will be attached to the Deal.

Setup Instructions

1. Navigate to Settings > Integrations to select Pipedrive under CRM:

2. You'll be navigated to the Add Pipedrive Integration dialog that will allow you to enter your API Token (found in Pipedrive under Settings > Personal > API) before clicking Connect to Pipedrive:

3. Set up Status Mappings for your Pipedrive Pipelines. You can set up different Pipeline Mappings for different Quote Templates which will allow you to customize which types of Quotes are sent to certain Pipelines:

Notes:

  • If a Deal created from a Quote has been moved to a different Pipeline in Pipedrive, we will not update the Pipeline or Deal Stage if the Quote status changes in Quoter. However, if it is moved within the same Pipeline, the Deal Stage will be changed.

  • There must be a Pipedrive Stage and Status set for each Quote Status to save the integration.

  • If you do not set a Pipeline Mapping for a specific Template, the Default Pipeline will be used instead.

4. To complete the setup process, complete the Integration Settings (Post Quotes as One Revision to Pipedrive and Status Mapping) and click Save Integration.

Address Mapping Problem

Pipedrive uses a single address field in their UI / website, but internally splits the address to multiple hidden fields using Google Maps Lookup or other services. This causes a problem when using Pipedrive Person Search feature in Quoter. The address that you get may not match the address that you see in Pipedrive. This problem is more prominent when you are using a non-English address in Pipedrive.

Unfortunately this is a limitation of Pipedrive API. If you are using non-English addresses, we recommend entering them manually in Quoter.
